Greg Sherwin

VP Engineering & Information Technology

Greg brings over 25 years of professional technology experience to Singularity University, the past 20 of which were focused on Internet media and product development. He has served as VP/SVP of Engineering at a number of Silicon Valley start-ups and established businesses including CNET Networks (now CBS Interactive), NBC Internet, TeeBeeDee, and Yola.com.

He most recently served as EVP of Products for Regalix, a Silicon Valley and India-based co-innovation company. As the head of Regalix Labs, he nurtured the strategic growth of entrepreneurial ideas, products, and businesses that included LearnStreet – an award-winning Khosla Ventures portfolio company that taught students to learn how to program online. He also served as LearnStreet’s President and co-founder.

Prior to working in the online world, Greg contributed as an engineer at several university research labs — which included control systems for satellite communications at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and for high-energy research among theoretical & experimental particle physicists at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is an alumni of the UCSF-UC Berkeley joint Bioengineering Ph.D. program.
